Andijk (NL): Collective renewable heat off-take by six greenhouses
Six greenhouse horticulture companies in the area ‘Het Grootslag’ located in Andijk, province North-Holland of the Netherlands, collectively purchase renewable heat directly from HoSt. For this purpose HoSt realized this 15 MWth biomass-fired heat and power plant in Andijk.
Besides the turn-key supply, HoSt fully operates the wood waste-fired energy installation and carries out the maintenance and business operation. With this complete renewable heat supply service from HoSt, the greenhouse growers don’t have to worry about service and maintenance of the energy plant.
