HoSt offers a total biomass-fired plant solution for the combustion of woody biomass streams and organic waste. HoSt is active in designing, building, operating and maintenance of wood waste boilers and wood waste bioenergy plants. Wood waste systems combust woody biomass, an energy source that is available is large quantities, and convert it in heat and (green) electricity. The combustion technology is highly flexible in applicable fuels: such as moisture contents ranging from 10% to 55% and fuels with low ash melting points like straw, chaff, manure, olive pulp, chicken manure and RDF (Refused Derived Fuel). HoSt is able to supply flue gas cleaning to minimize NOx, sulphur, chlorine, dust and other pollutants to meet required emission standards.
HoSt supplies wood waste boilers of 2 MWt to 50 MWt boiler capacity and up to 12 MWe. Wood waste CHP plants greater than 6 MWe are built in two combustion lines in combination with one larger efficient steam turbine.
