HoSt shortlisted in two AD & Biogas Industry Awards ’18 categories
We are proud to announce that two of our projects have been shortlisted for an award in the categories ‘Best Ammonia Emission Management Project’ and ‘Best International Agricultural Plant’ of the prominent AD & Biogas Industry Awards 2018.
Best Ammonia Emission Management Project
The award in this category is given to the project “judged to be most likely to help the industry to address methane or ammonia emissions from AD plants and digestate storage/spreading”. HoSt has been nominated with the Wabico project in Waalwijk, the Netherlands where HoSt has implemented an installation to recover minerals from manure.
Best International Agricultural Plant
This award will be given to the best agricultural or on-farm AD plant of any size outside the UK. HoSt has been nominated with the ‘Microferm Green Gas Installation’ in Vriezenveen. This plant is not only Netherland’s very first veal farm with a 100 percent small-scale manure AD plant that produces biomethane, it is even the world’s first biomethane production facility from 100 percent daily fresh rose veal manure.
Winners
Winners will be announced on at the ceremenony on 11th July, the first night of the UK AD & World Biogas Expo 2018, in Birmingham.
