HoSt, headquartered in the Netherlands, specialises in bioenergy technology and is a leading turnkey supplier of biomass and waste energy systems. We have grown into an international organisation providing waste-to-energy solutions through our network of sales representatives, local offices and partner distributors. We are looking for a Sales Engineer with commercial experience based in the UK, preferably someone living in the area of Bristol – Birmingham – London,  who can assist the sales growth of our bioenergy systems in the UK.

As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for increasing the market share of HoSt in the UK. You have the ability to understand and develop new sales strategies which will help us to continue to be an industry leader in Europe. Previous sales experience is of great importance.


  • Independent/responsible for increasing market share in the UK;
  • Maintaining contact with potential customers;
  • Providing visits to existing installations;
  • Preparing quotations;
  • Indentifying new sales opportunities;
  • Exhibiting at / attending trade fairs;
  • Developing plans and calculating concepts for project development;
  • Establishing sales strategy in cooperation with the sales team.


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Commercial / sales experience;
  • Affinity with the industry, energy companies and renewable energy;
  • Independent thinker, good social skills and pro-active attitude;
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Fluent in the English language.
