New order HoSt for construction of a biogas plant in Serbia

Host has received an order for the construction of a biogas plant for Mladost D.O.O Botoš in Botoš, Zrenjanin in Serbia.

The construction of the biogas plant consists of 2 phases. Both will be provided with a 600 kWe CHP.

The first phase of construction is realized with funding from the Dutch government and is made possible by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. The project will be launched in early 2015. In the first phase, beet pulp and sugar beet waste, supplemented with corn, will be digested. The heat and electricity that is generated will be used locally and / or injected to the natural gas network.

The construction of the second phase will be started right after the first phase, wherein the amount of the above-mentioned input streams is increased.
