Waste is no longer wasted thanks to our systems that produce bioenergy from organic residual flows. Besides renewable energy our systems produce other valuable end-products such as CO2 for greenhouses and the food and beverage industry and organic fertilizer.

Our in-house technology
Thanks to our in-house technology, our bioenergy plants are able to produce renewable energy from any organic waste. Ranging from anaerobic digesting 100% manure in our Microferm biogas plant to firing wood waste in our highly efficient heat and power boiler systems.

Biogas plants
HoSt is one of the leading suppliers of turn-key biogas plants. HoSt has designed and constructed numerous anaerobic digestion (AD) plants all over Europe. Equipment of the highest quality and use of the newest technology results in the most efficient anaerobic digestion plants for our customers.
Biomass- & waste-fired boiler installations
HoSt has experience since 1991 with designing, building, operating and maintenance of biomass-fired boilers and wood-fired boilers. Wood-fired bio-CHP’s are extremely suitable for the greenhouse sector. At a pepper nursery in Beetgum, the Netherlands HoSt has developed one of the most sustainable wood-fired combined cogeneration plants in the Netherlands.
Biogas upgrading systems
HoSt works together with biogas upgrading specialist Bright Biomethane for the supply of biogas upgrading systems and offers their well-proven biogas upgrading systems from 40 Nm3/hr to upgrade biogas to a methane-rich product gas, also known as biomethane or green gas.
Service & maintenance
HoSt offers a wide range of services. From maintenance for our supplied plants to process analysis to make sure your plant runs in the most optimal way. Moreover, HoSt conducts feasibility studies, can obtain necessary permits for installations, offers project development activities and we have our own laboratory for carrying out tests.
