Construction of already fifth HoSt Biomethane system in NL this year

In Tweede Exloërmond, in the province of Drenthe in the North of the Netherlands, HoSt will build a biogas upgrading system with a capacity of 750 Nm³/hr biogas.

This is already the fifth biogas upgrading project of HoSt in the Netherlands this year. The existing biogas installation in this project, which is already running for ten years, will be coverted and renovated. The project will be ready by October.

Renovation

When the MEP-subsidy (a subsidy for renewable energy initiatives) expired the client decided to replace the current system with a HoSt biogas upgrading system to upgrade the 750 Nm³/hr biogas produced biogas to 488 Nm³/hr biomethane with natural gas quality. The biomethane will be injected into the natural gas grid.

HoSt will supply the equipment for the renovation of the plant, the complete overhaul of the operating system and the biogas upgrading system.
