In Sisak (HR), HoSt built a wood-fired CHP plant. This plant will supply hot water to the district heating, steam to surrounding industries and electricity to the grid.

The prunings and the wood waste as fuel comes from the Sisak area. HoSt is responsible for the turn-key supply of the plant. The entire project is realized together with several local contractors.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • The HoSt high pressure watertube boiler has a very high availability.
  • The low temperature and low velocities on the grate prevent fouling and agglomerating in the boiler and furnace.
  • High efficiency is reached by low flue gas exit temperatures, low O2 content in the flue gasses and an efficient steam turbine.
