HUAI’AN, CHINA: HIGHLY ADVANCED BIOGAS PLANT
The highly advanced biogas plant has been built in Huai’an, China and produces biogas from rice straw. HoSt is the first provider of biogas plants capable of digesting the difficult feedstock rice straw. HoSt has built up extensive experience in the processing of various waste flows from the food-processing industry and agricultural by-products.
“Anaerobic digestion and converting biogas to fuel is an important development for the future of China”, Yunfeng Bai, CEO of CPCEP Group, stated. There was great interest for this project during the opening ceremony in China. HoSt expects that this project will be an extremely important spin-off for future projects not only in China, but also other countries in Asia with similar feedstock challenges.
