GUICHEN, FRANCE: FIRST MICROFERM+ BIOGAS PLANT
This biogas plant in Guichen, France is HoSt its first MICROFERM+ design agricultural biogas-to-biomethane plant. MICROFERM+ plants are specially designed for on-farm anaerobic digestion of liquid and solid agricultural feedstock. HoSt acted as one-stop supplier for this turnkey project.
A maximum of 7,900 tonnes of mainly cattle manure and maize silage is anaerobic digested annually. Thanks to the local available service and maintenance team of HoSt, 24/7 technically expert maintenance and spares service can be guaranteed.
BIOGAS TO BIOMETHANE
The MICROFERM + installations are complete installations including the biogas productionsystem and the biogas recovery system. Solid and liquid inputs are introduced separately into a digester then the biogas is collected by the gasometers. It is then upgraded to biomethane through a purification unit supplied by Bright Biomethane. For optimal efficiency, biomethane is obtained thanks to membrane separation technology which guarantees a methane content of biomethane of 97% minimum. This advanced technology ensures an efficiency of more than 99.5%. After purification, the biomethane is then injected into the GrDF gas network.
MICROFERM + A SCALABLE SOLUTION
Aware that the constraints of today will not be those of tomorrow, HoSt has integrated into Microferm + the equipment and reserves that facilitate your possible future developments (reserve connections – external heating system).
