Biogascompany ‘Biogas Marrum’ receives designation ‘Accredited Work Placement Company’

‘Groen Gas Marrum’ (Green Gas Marrum) biogas company, built and fully operated by HoSt, has been designated as accredited work placement company by the Foundation for Cooperation on Vocational Education, Training and Labour Market (SBB). This certificate is awarded to companies where students can follow an internship or apprenticeship of good quality.

The anaerobic digestion plant in Marrum produces annually 2.2 million Nm³ biomethane which has the same high quality as natural gas. This renewable biomethane is fed into the gas network and is equivalent to the average yearly gas consumption of 1,450 Dutch households.
