2022 year in review – unprecedented year for renewable energy

The year 2022 was an unprecedented year for the renewable energy sector, for the HoSt group and for the world. The necessity to accelerate the energy transition worldwide became very clear with the war in Ukraine and the floods in Pakistan. The world needs more renewable and reliable energy and the time to deploy it is ticking away.

“We keep on building towards a better world and are full of green energy for 2023”

Jelle Klein Teeselink, CEO of the HoSt Group: “As a company, we work with 375 passionate employees to empower sustainability ambitions around the globe in over 40 countries across 5 continents. Also, this year we were extremely proud to launch a wide range of new and improved technologies in the field of carbon capture, CO2 liquefaction and a small scale RDF incineration plant. All in-house developed and already deployed in several countries in Europe and the United States. We keep on building towards a better world and are full of green energy for 2023″.

Inspiring collaborations

2022 was also a year in which we welcomed many new colleagues who share their passion for and knowledge of renewable energy technology to build and realize projects that reduce CO2 emissions in inspiring collaborations. We are thankful and look forward to working together in the new year. A new year in which we work hard again to bring sustainable and reliable energy to you and everyone else and increase energy security and independence.

HoSt Group is driving the greatest challenge we have ever known: the energy transition. Also in 2023, the organization is committed to empower sustainability ambitions worldwide by realizing reliable, efficient and clean bioenergy plants that reduce CO2 emissions and produce renewable energy and other valuable end-products.
